Jim Tonglet serves as the managing partner of Ericksen Krentel, the firm’s sixth managing partner.

As managing partner, he oversees the firm’s operations, providing strategic direction and leadership across all functions. He is responsible for driving growth, fostering innovation, and enhancing the firm’s services to better meet the evolving needs of clients.

Tonglet most recently led the firm’s Northshore accounting and audit practice, providing clients in industries such as government, hospitality, maritime, and construction with traditional audit and attest services as well as cloud-based accounting, virtual controller, and CFO services.

Jim’s audit and accounting experience with entities including privately owned small businesses, governmental agencies and nonprofit organizations spans more than 35 years. He is licensed to practice as a CPA in Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, and Colorado.
