Blair Hoeffner is a Manager in Ericksen Krentel’s Tax Services Group, where she has worked since February 2022. She reviews clients’ tax returns, personally prepares more complex returns, and works directly with clients to help them understand their tax situations. She also trains and develops staff on her team.

Blair’s first introduction to the accounting profession came in high school, when she scanned and filed documents at a family friend’s CPA firm. Her career initially took her in another direction, working in accounts receivable for a healthcare company. She later decided to pursue her CPA license and make the move into public accounting. Blair joined Ericksen Krentel as a staff accountant and has steadily advanced within the firm.

What Blair enjoys most about tax work is that no two returns— or clients — are exactly alike. She approaches each client’s situation as its own puzzle, giving her the opportunity to continually learn rather than repeat the same process. Clients value that individualized approach and her commitment to understanding their circumstances instead of treating their returns as templates.
