Kelly Haden Receives National Accounting Award
NEW ORLEANS – Kelly Haden, CPA, CGMA, a manager in Ericksen Krentel’s Tax Services Section, received the Women Who Count Public Practice Professional Award from the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA) during the organization’s annual conference October 30.
She is president of the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance-New Orleans Chapter, chairwoman of the Society of Louisiana CPAs’ Career Awareness Committee, past national president of Kappa Gamma Pi (the National Catholic College Graduate Honor Society) and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
“Kelly is a woman with a goal – a goal that drives her to focus on growth for her clients, her firm, and herself. Her drive and motivation is inspiring to those around her and I could not be more proud to recognize her with a Women Who Count Award,” said AFWA National President Lori Kelley, CPA.
Kelly focuses on tax compliance and small business consulting among various industries, including, but not limited to, construction, maritime, nonprofit, professional services and real estate. She has extensive knowledge in taxation, including preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership, trust and nonprofit returns and compliance with multistate regulations. Kelly has experience in providing successful resolution of tax matters with the IRS and various state revenue offices.
Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Holy Cross.
