Ericksen Krentel has elected Josh Faubert CPA, CITP and Kelly Haden CPA, CGMA to its partnership, effective January 1, 2025.

Josh Faubert

Faubert joined Ericksen Krentel in September 2013 as a staff accountant and was promoted to manager in January 2019. He most recently served as a senior manager in the firm’s Accounting and Audit Services section, specializing in audits, reviews, and data analytics services for clients of all sizes. Throughout his engagements, he provides guidance that helps to protect assets, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and strengthen the reliability of financial statements.

During many of his projects, Faubert leverages cutting-edge software such as Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and KNIME Analytics Platform to provide real-time financial and operational insights through dashboards and automation. He assists clients in creating visual tools that empower managers and owners to quickly access relevant data, enabling more efficient oversight and prompt decision-making.

Faubert is also driving future-focused innovation in AI-powered automation and audit data analytics. By automating repetitive audit tasks and refining data analysis techniques, he helps lead the audit department toward a more efficient, accurate, and proactive approach to auditing.

Faubert’s extensive background in auditing includes guiding clients through complex FASB and GASB implementations, as well as designing robust internal control procedures. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he serves as treasurer for the Justice and Accountability Center of Louisiana. He is also a member of the AICPA and the Society of Louisiana CPAs.

Faubert, a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), earned his master’s degree in business administration and his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans. He was recognized as a New Orleans City Business One to Watch in the accounting profession in 2020.

He has been instrumental in providing accounting-technology training for Ericksen Krentel team members while serving as a key part of the firm’s recruiting team.

Kelly Haden

Haden, a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), most recently served as a senior manager in the firm’s Tax Services Section, a position she was promoted to in 2020, with a focus on tax compliance and small business consulting among various industries, including, but not limited to, construction, nonprofit, professional services, real estate, and estate and gift tax.

She has extensive knowledge in taxation, including preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and nonprofit returns and compliance with multistate regulations.

Haden, who joined Ericksen Krentel in 2012 as a supervising senior accountant, has 20-plus years of experience in providing successful resolution of tax matters with the Internal Revenue Service and various state revenue offices.

Her work has been recognized by the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance, which presented her with the Women Who Count Award-Public Practice Professional award and its Patricia M. Harrison Member of the Year Award twice. She also was named a New Orleans CityBusiness One to Watch in the accounting profession in 2020.

Haden is the membership coordinator for the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance – New Orleans Chapter, where she has served as past president and treasurer. She’s also a member of the New Orleans Estate Planning Council, the AICPA, and the Society of Louisiana CPAs.

She earned her master’s degree in tax accounting from the University of New Orleans and her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Holy Cross.

Haden has been a key part of the firm’s recruiting team while serving as a leader in its professional development program.
