Ericksen Krentel Partner Appointed to Slidell Memorial Hospital Foundation Board

NEW ORLEANS – Jim Tonglet CPA, CGMA, partner in charge of Ericksen Krentel’s Client Accounting Services Section, has been appointed to the Slidell Memorial Hospital Foundation board of directors.

The Foundation assesses needs for equipment and innovative programs at SMH that will improve the quality of life in the community. The Foundation funds services that bring dignity and confidence to their patients during their time of need, along with services for children and parents. Through annual fundraisers and direct donor cultivation, the Foundation has collaborated with the community to raise money to fill the identified needs.

Jim provides clients in industries such as hospitality, healthcare, maritime, insurance and manufacturing with cloud-based accounting services and other virtual controller and CFO services. Jim’s accounting and auditing experience with entities including privately owned small businesses, governmental agencies and nonprofit organizations spans more than 29 years. He is licensed to practice as a CPA in Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, Virginia and Colorado.

He is a member of the St. Tammany West Chamber’s Public Affairs Committee, president of the Rising Phoenix Referral Group, past treasurer of Knights of Columbus Council 2732 and St. Margaret Mary Parish’s Finance Council, and is a past member of Pope John Paul II High School’s Parent Steering Fundraising Committee.
