Ericksen Krentel Introduces New Managers
Kay Miller CPA has been promoted to a senior manager in the firm’s Tax Services Section.
Kay specializes in helping small businesses, especially in the hospitality and healthcare industries. Her accounting and tax background involves managerial experience with both local and regional CPA firms. Kay previously served as chief financial officer for a regional health care provider specializing in orthopedics, in addition to serving as an adjunct professor with a local community college where she taught bookkeeping, accounting and computerized accounting.
Kay is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Society of Louisiana CPAs. She earned her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting from the University of New Orleans.
Wendy Dew CPA has joined Ericksen Krentel CPAs and Consultants as a senior manager in the firm’s Tax Services Section.
Wendy specializes in providing compliance and consulting services for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts. She has worked with businesses and individuals in various industries including healthcare, real estate and professional services.
She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Society of Louisiana CPAs. Wendy earned her master’s degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans and her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwestern State University.
Drew Chapman CPA has joined the firm’s Accounting and Audit Services Section as a manager.
Drew specializes in financial audits and reviews, employee benefit plan audits, internal control assessments and non-traditional engagements. His clients include those in the construction, nonprofit, education and maritime industries. He has performed audits ranging from start-up nonprofit entities to publicly traded financial institutions with assets in excess of $4 billion. He approaches each engagement with the express purpose of using his audit expertise to add value to his clients.
He is treasurer of the board of directors for the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children, a team leader with HeadCount, and is a member of the Young Leadership Council, American Institute of CPAs and the Society of Louisiana CPAs. Drew earned his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accountancy from the University of Mississippi. He also earned the Silas M. Simmons Bronze Medal for achieving the third highest score on the CPA exam in Mississippi in 2012.
Josh Faubert CPA, CITP, MBA has been promoted to a manager in the firm’s Accounting and Audit Services Section.
Josh specializes in audits, reviews, compilations and preparations for clients of all sizes across several industries. He has expertise in leveraging technology to enhance audit quality and produce insightful analyses for clients. He also has extensive experience in governmental auditing and has assisted clients through complex implementations of GASB standards and in designing internal control procedures. During his audits, Josh evaluates and makes recommendations for safeguarding of assets, compliance with policies and procedures, and the reliability of financial statements. Josh serves on the firm’s maritime services team.
He is a member of the Young Leadership Council, American Institute of CPAs and the Society of Louisiana CPAs. Josh earned his master’s degree in business administration and bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans.
