Partner
Claude M. Silverman joined the firm in 1983. He is the
partner in charge of the firm's Information Technology Division. He specializes in audit,
consulting and information technology services and has extensive experience in hotel, restaurant,
hospitality, health care, non-profit, and professional services industries. He also has
experience with audit and compliance issues relating to pension and employee benefit plans.
Mr. Silverman received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting
from the University of New Orleans in 1982. Before joining the firm, he was a Staff
Accountant at Ocean Drilling and Exploration Company.
Claude Silverman’s industry memberships include the Medical Group
Management Association and Healthcare Financial Management Association. He is also a member
of Greater New Orleans, Inc., the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, and the New Orleans Metropolitan Convention and
Visitors Bureau.
Mr. Silverman’s professional memberships include the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where he is a member of the Information
Technology Division. He is also a member of the Society
of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (SLCPA) and the New
Orleans Chapter of the LCPA.
